When and where are the
dinners held?
Our dinners are held on some Friday and every Saturday
evening. All dinners are organised on the Monday prior to the
weekend. Our dinners are held currently in the Lower North
Shore, Parramatta and Inner City restaurants. In the not too
distant future, dinners will also be held in the Eastern Suburbs
and the Sutherland Shire. Sunday breakfasts and mid week dinners
will also commence shortly.
How does RT6 match people together?
We do this by age group alone. University research shows
there is no magic formula for predicting attraction between
people. It is all up to the elusive chemistry and for you to
create the magic.
How do I book attendance at a dinner?
We ask you, please, to call the office on the Monday prior to the
weekend you wish to dine and we will reserve a spot for you. Our
evenings do book out so please call early to ensure we reserve
your place as we hate to disappoint. Bookings are also taken in
advance of one week if you prefer, just ring the office to
reserve your place. Your booking can also be made via email on
info@roundtablesix.com.au.
What happens when I get to the restaurant?
You will be greeted by a member of
the team
or myself,
who will meet you, escort you to the table and introduce you to
your fellow diners. We make it as easy and as comfortable for
you as we can.
What if I book into a dinner and I have to cancel?
If you give less than 24 hours notice of your cancellation
we
regret that a $50.00 fee will apply. This is a condition of
joining Round Table Six and the cancellation fee must be paid
before you can attend future dinners. It is imperative there are
six people at your table to ensure everyone has the opportunity
to meet a member of the opposite sex. It is also keeps the
dynamics of the group flowing when there is an even number of
people. Please understand
we charge this fee to
deter people from cancelling as
we
do not wish to disappoint those attending.
We ask that you be reliable and be on time - this is the key to
our success. If you book into a dinner we ask you honour the
arrangement and do not let the other members of the club down.
If you are running late please call the restaurant so they can
advise the host and your table.
What do I wear?
Smart casual wear is perfectly acceptable for all
restaurants. We ask no denim be worn and men wear a collared
shirt. My suggestion is to dress to impress.
How do I join?
Simply complete the attached membership form with your
details, enclose a cheque, money order or your credit card
details for $80.00 and send to:

On receipt you will be a member of our dinner club. The $80.00
fee is for a 6 month membership. Renewals after this period are
$60.00 for the next 6 month period. These amounts are GST
inclusive. Regrettably a $1.00 surcharge applies to all credit
card payments.
Why do you need my credit card details if I am paying my
membership by cheque or money order?
During the year we will host special events which
will need to be pre paid in advance so having your credit card
details on file will facilitate this process. Please note that
charges to your credit card will NOT be made without your
consent. If you decide to attend a special event you will be
asked if we
may charge this to your credit card. Only then will these
details be used. Your credit card will also be charged if you
cancel your dinner within the 24 hour period.
How much do the dinners cost to attend?
We choose restaurants which are good value for money and are
BYO where possible. You pay a $25.00 booking fee to attend plus
the cost of your own meal and drinks. We ask you do not split
the bill between you as this may offend. In the Parramatta area,
the restaurants organize choices within a 3 course meal with
bread and coffee. The cost for dinners in this area, range in
price between $60.00 and $70.00. This includes your booking fee
and GST.
What do I do after the evening is over?
Feel free to call the office at any time to give
us
feedback on your evening.
We
can only improve your dining experience if you let me know
the areas where we
can improve.
What do I do if I would like to meet someone again after our
initial dinner introduction?
You may of course ask the person directly if you may be in
contact. However we would prefer you call the office and let us
know who may have “caught your eye” and we can discreetly
inquire of their interest in order for you to make contact. This
helps to keep integrity for both parties. This is all part of
our service to you.
What do I do after a great dining evening?
You tell all your single friends about us so they can enjoy
the Round Table Six experience too!
